                   Relationships Counselling and Psychotherapy

Do you have a particular relationship problem you’re trying to overcome? Sometimes, seeking help from a professional is the best way to put things into perspective.  With over 20 years experience as a committed couples' counsellor and psychotherapist, your wellbeing and personal growth - either as an individual or as a couple - is my key objective.  If you are facing emotional and relationship pressures, I can assist you.  With extensive experience at the London Marriage Guidance Council, the Tavistock Institute and in private practice, I have gained an in-depth understanding of couples and individuals endeavouring to overcome emotional breakdowns and issues in relationships.

Appointments can be conducted at my practice in Sydney or London, when available or via video conference call at anytime, providing maximum convenience and privacy.

What To Expect From Your Session

Perhaps you're down, anxious or struggling with conflict.  Maybe you're feeling disillusioned about your relationship, have experienced a loss of trust or just feel that both of you aren't living the lives you were meant to lead.  Whatever your needs may be, I will help you, or you and your partner, analyse your current position and provide a supportive and safe space to help you achieve a better and more fulfilling relationship.  Therapy is a process that can provide greater insight and understanding of ourselves and each other.  In my sessions, I promote positive change by encouraging listening and understanding that can lead to stronger and more caring relationships and resolution of conflict.  I have broad experience in dealing with relationship breakdowns and in helping couples and individuals with personal relationship issues that they are seeking to resolve.

Sessions can be conducted via video conference, teleconference or face-to-face..

Counselling Services

Providing real and practical help for life's issues.

Couple Therapy

I provide a supportive and safe environment to examine and analyse issues affecting your relationship.  All too often, miscommunication and breakdown of trust can lead to serious problems. Therapy sessions with a qualified psychotherapeutic relationship counsellor offer a neutral and supportive space to examine these issues; this can be pivotal in providing answers to seemingly insurmountable problems.  I provide an opportunity to discuss conflicts and issues in a confidential and contained forum with the aim of creating a more loving and fulfilling relationship.

Individual Therapy

In therapy sessions, we can work together to understand your relationship problems and issues, providing the space for improved emotional responses and wellbeing.  I will help you to explore your experiences and assist you with insight into understanding the issues that may be affecting your fulfilment in a relationship.  Personalised Individual therapy can be beneficial in providing a new way to move forward with more confidence.

Next Steps

A normal course of counselling commences with a preliminary session and is followed by a series of ongoing sessions, the number dependent upon the depth and complexity of issues to be addressed. Some people seek brief therapy for a specific problem; for others, therapy is an opportunity to explore issues more extensively and can be conducted on an ongoing basis.

My practice operates in both Sydney and London.  I offer face-to-face sessions, when available; otherwise, I provide online video counselling.  My fees are $150/£75 for a 75 minute online couple counselling session and $100/£50 for an online 50 minute individual session.  If you are in financial difficulty and need help, please get in touch with me.

Start the process towards a better relationship by sending me an email to arrange an appointment.
